Living with Reality: Who We Are, What We Could Be, How We Get There, is the core of The Stream’s work. This collective workbook is written in down-to-earth, understandable language, and offers exercises and very specific habits that we can practice. Much more detailed in its spiritual teaching than the workshops, Living with Reality can be read by you as an individual, but it is even more effectively used when you read it as a participant in one of the mutual support meetings offered by The Stream. Music

Does the song remain the same? Inspired by recent events and feeling the need to express herself, Beth Green took two great American standards and updated their lyrics. Both an homage to the original and a reflection of evolving consciousness, the lyrics expressed what Beth and others in the Stream deeply feel and believe.

Another member of our community, Rozz Hopson, led a group in singing both of these ‘new’ classics. We have captured the lyrics and the video from that session and are presenting it here for you to read, watch and enjoy.

Talks

Below, you will find a three part video series, in which our founder, Beth Green, shares The Stream’s vision as to how humanity can change and solve its collective problems.

In part one Beth asserts that the fundamental problem we face is the current state of human consciousness: that we are dominated by the ego – by immature, short-term, me-based thinking.

In part two Beth inspires us to take on that state of consciousness, not just by pointing out that we are all suffering, but by inspiring us to believe that it is possible to change the way we feel and behave, that we are all motivated by a desire to co-create a better world.

In part three Beth suggests that once we feel both inspired to change and hopeful that we can, the Nine Platforms of The Stream’s Living with Reality program offers us a concrete way to overcome the ego’s domination and to shift into oneness, co-creation, mutual support.
